HI Everyone,

I'm looking for a battery operated light for my trade show signs. They are going to be 8' tall by 33" wide, four panel making a box so to speak and rotating on a base. I want lighting on the top of the signs so that people can see it from afar! Makes sense! Is there a light that is strong enough to light this? I plan to have one light per side so four on each tower.

All suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

kmeadowcroft,

If I knew the answer to your question I could probably sell a gazillion of them!

The fact of the matter is that such a fixture does not exist (at least, not that I know of). This type of high-lumen battery-powered display light does not yet exist for two reasons: A) It's VERY difficult for batteries to power bright lights for a long period of time (consider, for example, that the LEDs inside a battery-powered exit sign will stay lit for only about 90 minutes after the electricity goes out) and B) Most bright display lights use some type of halogen light source that requires standard electricity. LED display lights are beginning to emerge but they also use standard electricity.

If you find the display that you are looking for, please tell me about it!
